With the HfG’s Photography Department, we organised an art book fair, the “BookBau Festival” largely focused on photography and a particular interest in sustainable issues, inviting other German and international universities and publishers to take part.

I was involved in the organisation and development of the fair right from the start. As a member of the curation team, I particularly participated in developing the thematic concept, the aesthetic identity, the floor plan, the furniture and the scenography of the venue.

To develop a more sustainable book fair model, we used exclusively recycled materials from a finished exhibition from the ZKM Museum to design and build all the furniture and decorative elements.
